Felicity Jones is an British actress best known because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since when she was 12 years old and was in numerous movies and television shows. Her career began with The Television film The Treasure Seekers. Her next role was that on Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. The first film she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool which starred her as Young Ruth. Since then she's appeared in numerous films. In movies such as The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she gained acclaim for her acting. The role she played as the wife in The Theory of Everything was which earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones was praised by the critics and viewers alike in her portrayal of Hawking's wife, who was his ex-wife In"The Theory of Everything," a Stephen Hawking biopic. Jones was later seen in Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. In 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles named Jones in the category of British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to the cinema.
